Description of the printer

The HP Jet Fusion 3D Printing Solution 5200 Digital Manufacturing Solution consists of a 3D printer, an interchangeable build unit in which the actual 3D printing takes place, and process equipment. For higher productivity in the production of functional parts, the assembly has been supplemented with interchangeable cooling units. Together with dedicated software (HP 3D Process Control) for seamless process control to ensure repeatable accuracy, reliability and production stability, the HP Jet Fusion 5200 is the solution for medium volume production of plastic parts.

Filling of print material is automatic in the process equipment. The build unit, filled with material, is then inserted into the 3D printer to start printing. When printing is complete, you attach a smaller cooling unit to the build unit, into which the still hot printed parts are automatically moved. The build unit is thus immediately ready for further parts production. After the parts have cooled down, the process unit removes the unbaked building material from the cooling unit to be used for the new build.

In addition to HP 3D Process Control, as with other HP Jet Fusion devices, the solution includes highly intuitive and powerful software with the necessary tools for data preparation and subsequent part production.

The entire technology is based on very precise yet fast deposition of building material and special solutions and subsequent interaction with temperature. 3D printing of a single layer is constant no matter how complex the part you are printing. You can print a 380 x 284 x 380 mm build area in as little as 9.5 hours on the HP Jet Fusion 5200.
