HP JET FUSION 5200
The HP Jet Fusion 5200 digital production solution consists of a 3D printer, a switchable build unit and processing station. For higher productivity of production of functional parts, the assembly was supplemented with exchangeable cooling units. Together with specialized software (HP 3D Process Control) for continuous process control to ensure repeatable accuracy, reliability and production stability, the HP Jet Fusion 5200 represents a solution for medium-volume production of plastic parts.
The material for printing is filled automatically in the process equipment. Then insert the material-filled setting unit into the 3D printer and start printing. After printing, you place a smaller cooling unit on the setting unit, into which the still hot printed parts are automatically moved. The setting unit is thus immediately ready for further production of parts. After the parts have cooled, the unbaked building material is removed from the cooling unit in the process unit and used for new construction.
In addition to HP 3D Process Control, as with other HP Jet Fusion devices, the solution includes highly intuitive and powerful software with the necessary tools for data preparation and subsequent part production.
The whole technology is based on a very precise and at the same time fast application of building materials and special solutions and subsequent interaction with temperature. 3D printing of one layer is constant no matter how complex the part you print. You can print a construction space measuring 380 x 284 x 380 mm on the HP Jet Fusion 5200 in just 9.5 hours.

Plastic injection molding has no competition for high volume production and low unit costs. Or you need to be flexible in changing the design of products for which producing molds does not make economic sense. In these cases, the HP Jet Fusion 3D printer is a great alternative even for non-complex parts.

If you want to realise the full potential of 3D printing, you need quality 3D modelling. Today's software solutions can not only create 3D models, resize and convert to a suitable format, but also provide tools such as topologically optimization and full-colour texture.
Before modelling for 3D printing on HP Multi Jet Fusion technology, it is a good idea to familiarize yourself with a few basic guidelines.
Various software tools can be used to create 3D models for 3D printing, including the most commonly used CAD software. If you already work with CAD software, you can easily use it to prepare data for 3D printing.

All powder-based 3D printing technology, including HP Multi Jet Fusion, require some post-processing of the printed parts. Namely, the removal of residual, unbonded build material from the surface of the parts. This is best achieved by sand-blasting or with a fine mixture of plastic powder. Other processing, can be, for example, dyeing or applying a coating.
