Services in the field of production of no longer available parts and components for cars and motorbikes, from the template of old worn out parts have become an integral part of our scanning and 3D printing activities. This process is also called reverse engineering. Martin Vaculík, the editor of the World of Engines, approached us with the idea of creating a part for the Škoda Felicia that was in demand but could no longer be bought anywhere, based on a template. Together with him, we put together an interesting report describing the entire process of creating the part, from scanning the original part, through its refinement into a 3D model to the final printing.
